Atibaia Eco Resort
 The
XVII century was settled by the actuation of the "bandeirantes"
which, leaving the city of São Paulo, advanced
through the brasilian inland, searching for wealth,
indians and precious minerals.
Atibaia emerged as a resting place for those travellers
during their hard journeys, becoming after into a wheat,
coffee and sugar cane producer region.
The eclesiastic architecture and the huge houses made
of "taipa" are part of the historical heritance
of Atibaia, as well as the european and japanese imigrants,
who contributed in the traditions and culture of the
city.

by natural reserves of Atlantic Forest, the waterfalls
and trails shelters both those who are looking for for
peace and nature, as those who prefers the emotions
of flying on a delta-wing, paragliding, mountain-biking
and trekking, besides water sports like jet-skiing.
