What for the operation serves?

The operation serves to fill the contour alterations of the internal face of the thighs and/or to increase the volume of the calves in people with small volume in this area.

The procedure consists in placing a prothesis that will stay under the fascia (membrane that covers the muscle) through an incision of 3 or 4 centimeters approximately in the rear plica of the knee, in order to make it the most invisible as possible. The elected anesthesia is the peridural associated to sedation.

What can the surgery offer?

To increase the calf with a better shape of the thighs is the aim of this inclusion´s placement. The results are usually very natural.

Preoperative and Postoperative Cares.

Before the surgery there is no specific recomendation. After the surgery we recommend the use of compressive stockings for the oeriod of one month.

For the women, high heeled shoes will feel more comfortable in the early days. Sun exposure only after three months.
